Broadmoor Police prides itself in having the largest number of volunteer services officers in San Mateo County. Officers assigned to the patrol division work along side supplementing the full time members of the department. Learn more

Join Our Team

The following is are listed criteria's each candidate must meet before becoming a Reserve Peace Officer in the city of Broadmoor.

Note: All candidates must reside no more than 40 miles from the Broadmoor Police Department.

Satisfactorily complete a POST certified police academy in either modular or Intensive format

High School diploma or equivalent
Must be a US citizen
Pass an oral board interview
Pass a POST certified background investigation
Pass a psychological evaluation
Pass a medical examination
Pass a Chief and Commander Interview
